Events are scheduled as follows.
[Eligibility]
1. Must be an amateur player; those who have ever qualified as a professional
player are not eligible, even if they are retired.
2. Must be a university student under 30 years of age excluding graduate
students and must submit student ID card.
3. Be able to participate face-to-face in championship held in Japan.
4. Be able to communicate in English or Japanese via e-mail.
[Regulations]
1. Japanese GO rule is applied.
2. 4-round Swiss system is applied.
3. The 1st to 3rd players are awarded.
4. All games are played on even with black giving 6.5-point komi.
5. The time control is 60 minutes followed by 30 seconds byoyomi for 3 times.
6. First round matchups are made so that players from the same country/region
do not play each other.
7. Use of smart phones, smart watches, wireless earphones and any other
communication devices during the match is prohibited.

“Asia” players to be selected from Thailand, and Singapore.
Players to be registered in the country or region where their university located.
International students participate in the country or region where they study
abroad.
NOTES
1. Transportation subsidy
Subsidies will be provided for players’ transportation expenses. The transportation cost for
one way from player’s home country to Ichigaya station will be provided in Japanese Yen in
exchange for the receipt. The amount to be paid will be calculated based on the Mizuho bank
exchange rate on February 2, 2026. No subsidies will be provided without a receipt or a
certificate of the airfare.
2. Accommodation
We will cover the accommodation charges during the championship if you stay at Youth
Education National Olympics Memorial Youth Center ; hotel designated by the organizers.
The accommodation includes breakfast on February 10 to 12. If you wish to stay at other
accommodations, you are responsible for your accommodation expenses. Accommodation
expenses for accompanying persons are at your expense.
3. Meals
We will provide lunch on the 10th and 11th. Please let us know if you have any allergies or
special diet. Dinner on the 10th and 11th will not be provided.
4. Reception Party
A reception party is scheduled for the evening of the 9th. We will contact you for details as
soon as possible.
5. Responsibility
If you cause damage to the hotel rooms, facilities or to the venue, you will be responsible
for the cost of repairs. We will not be responsible for any liability.

– แข่งขันคัดเลือกตัวแทนประเทศไทยจำนวน 1 คน
– ใช้ระบบแพ้คัดออก
– การเลือกสีหมาก : เสี่ยงทายสีหมาก (Nigiri)
– การนับแต้ม : แบบญี่ปุ่น
– แต้มต่อ (Komi) : 6.5 คะแนน
– เวลาในการแข่งขัน :
เวลาหลัก (Main Time) : ฝ่ายละ 60 นาที
Byo-Yomi : 10 วินาที 3 ครั้ง
– การมาไม่ทันการชี้แจงกติกาการแข่งขัน : ทำการถอดออกจากการแข่งขัน
– การมาสายในการแข่งขันแต่ละรอบ : หากมาสายเกิน 15 นาที จะถูกปรับแพ้ในรอบนั้นๆทันที
– การถอนตัว : ต้องแจ้งก่อนการแข่งขันคัดตัวอย่างน้อย 1 วัน
– การประท้วงกรณีคู่แข่งทำผิดกติกาหรือประสบปัญหาระหว่างแข่งขัน : ให้กดหยุดนาฬิกา และยกมือเรียกกรรมการทันที ห้าม! ดำเนินการแข่งขันต่อจนกว่ากรรมการจะเข้ามาดำเนินการ
– เพื่อให้การดำเนินงานเป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อยมีประสิทธิภาพและบรรลุตามวัตถุประสงค์ของโครงการ การตัดสินของคณะกรรมการถือเป็นที่สิ้นสุด
คุณสมบัติผู้สมัคร
– มีสัญชาติไทย
– มีอายุไม่เกิน 30 ปี ในระหว่างดำเนินการแข่งขัน
– กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยในประเทศไทยเท่านั้น
– มีระดับฝีมือ 4 ดั้ง ขึ้นไป
– สามารถสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษหรือญี่ปุ่นได้
